Fees

The contractual fee corresponds to the value and the complexity of the case and is stipulated with the client either by an hourly rate, a lump fee or per a single act of a legal service. Clients may expect offers of hourly rates ranging from CZK 2.500 to CZK 3.500 in standard regional matters conducted in Czech and from CZK 3.000 to CZK 5.000 in matters of international nature or conducted in English, in both cases with an estimation of the total work. In unusual matters, the offered hourly rate can be lower or higher.

In cases when the fee is not agreed with the client, it is stipulated according to the fixed rates of the regulation No. 177/1996 Coll. per each act of a legal service.

In addition to the fee, the clients are charged a compensation for cash expenditures of the attorney such as court fees, travel expenses, postal charges, expert and technical opinions, translations etc. and a compensation of the loss of time of the attorney (e.g. the time of travel out of Prague) of CZK 150 per each initiated half an hour.
